Package Design

Microsystems foundries are capital equipment intensive and require dedicated personnel. The resulting costs impose significant entry barriers to novel devices through minimum production volume and pricing restrictions. Companies prefer instead to build their own fabs only when the product concept is mature enough and the market potential validated.

Our company operates in a 'fabless' mode, with no in-house device foundry. We focus all our efforts in selecting the technology that best suits the product's technical goals, development budget and project timetable. We use both stable and developmental processes at a number of fab houses around the world. We select them not only for their ability to provide adequate prototyping runs, but also for their ability to ramp up volume production according to your specific product restrictions in the form of volume estimates, turnaround time and overall development costs. We perform device post processing to satisfy specific customization requirements and oversee manufacturing of your microsystem prototype throughout the prototyping process.
